This contents page follows the colour scheme of the ‘Q’ logo of red and white. The masthead is relatively small but looks neat as the writing is bold white font and the background is black. In the centre of the page there is a mid-shot of the band covering most of the page. This is a good way to attract the audience because the page is not over powering the writing which would encourage people to look at this and not see it as unnecessary. The bold writing of the ‘The Courteeners’ shows they are probably the main article and are going to be what attracts the audience to buy this copy of the magazine.  This contents page has been put in to columns so it is easier to read and looks professional.  The ‘every month’ on the left hand side of the page show that there is consistency in the magazine which means that people do buy the magazine, this makes the audience more likely to buy it if they know people will be talking about it. Also on the left hand side there is a column on ‘features’ which will tell people what else is in the magazine. Having the numbers in a clear red makes them easy to locate, meaning that articles are easily found. This makes it more of an enjoyable task for the audience looking for what you want to read about and less of an annoying thing.
